Visit of Vietnam Enterprise

Delegates of Hanoi Water Electric Mechanical and Construction Company visited CSCS from March 26, 2008 to March 30, during which they paid a study and research visit to steel fabrication factory and made technological exchanges.

This is a state-owned enterprise of Vietnam holding a major share, the primary service is: Water and electricity equipment setup, construction, real estate development and so on. They planed to construct an 18-story steel structural building and a steel structure processing factory in their country, yet the weak technology base of steel construction and lack of experience have become a big challenge which is the major incentive of the visit in China. They expected to understand the Chinese steel structure production and conduct technical communication and consultancy with the society so as to enlighten the Vietnam steel construction industry.

Accompanied by CSCS related staff, the visitors looked around the Morgan Mansion of entire steel-structure undertook by Beijing Shoujia Steel Construction Corporation. General engineer introduced characteristics of the structure and nodus on technique. Later, they visited processing factory of two famous companies: Shoujia and 3J International in which they saw about the processing equipment, work flow and management, etc.

In the technical communication with the society in March 27, the specialists of member company China Jingye Engineering Corporation kindly shared valuable experience in practice and amply answered the visitors' questions. Secretary-general Liu Yi said the society would like to provide opportunity for communication and support the steel construction development in the neighboring country as always.

Mr. Vu Hoangming, the Chairman of the board said he was deeply impressed by the soaring pace of China's steel industry and the technical strength, what he had seen would be inspiring for their company's future progress.
