Ohio State University Civil and Environmental Engineering Department Professor Halil visited CSCS and provided an academic report of “Progressive Collapse Performance of Steel Buildings” for the society's leaders and experts on December 21 st , 2011. Since 2003, Professor Halil worked in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of Ohio State University and mainly engaged in the direction of structural seismic research. At the same time, he also served as a member of American Society of Civil Engineers, American Concrete Institute and American Institute of Steel Construction. CSCS Secretary-General Liu Wanzhong, Director of the International Department Dai Changhe as well as China Steel Construction Center experts and staff attended the meeting. During the meeting, Secretary-General Liu Wanzhong introduced the basic information and background of CSCS.
